13th Munai Ki - The Rite of the Womb
There is a lineage of women who freed themselves from suffering. This lineage of women wants us to remember:
The feminine spirit of the jungle reminds us of this simple and vital truth:
“The womb is not a place to store fear and pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life.”
This lineage of women through the jungle medicine has given us the 13th rite of the
Munay-Ki: The Rite of the Womb.
The story behind the Womb Rite:
Using jungle medicine, a lineage of women wanted to heal Mother Earth, our individual, collective and ancestral fear and free us from all suffering.
The Rite of the Womb is a blessing of the Womb, our sacred place of creation.
Marcela Lobos was first to receive the rite as a healing transmission, with later instructions to pass the rite on to as many women as possible.
The Rite is connected to the divine feminine energy, to the 13 moons of the year, and the cycle of women’s wombs. The rite is for healing, personal growth, which will grow and strengthen, also for your womb connection to Mother Earth giving Her healing and will also help to heal the wrongs that women have suffered over eons of time, helping all our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and daughters.
This rite may be received by all women of all ages including pre-menarche girls.
What to expect and what to bring:
This is a time to honour your magick, your ability to create, and learn to let go.
Together, clearing all of the pain of women, personally and collectively.
You will need to wear white or red, bring a journal and an offering for the altar.
After receiving the initiation, you will be able to pass the transmission to others. You transmit the wisdom from your womb to hers... And in this way bring healing to our Mother Earth.
If I had a hysterectomy can I receive this rite?
If your uterus was removed is even more important that you receive this rite. Energetically you still have your womb and it is vital that you reconnect with it to reclaim your feminine wisdom and power. After you receive the rite it is fundamental that you nurture it every dark moon to heal any imprints of pain and sorrow and step into joy and compassion.
Can pregnant women receive the rite?
It is common for participants to experience heavier bleeding during menstruation, following the Rite, which in a way is expected since we are clearing the womb, our seat of creation, and energetic place of our emotional body. I wouldn't personally recommend this rite to pregnant women, especially those in the early stages of their pregnancy. I have received feedback from women in their menopause to experience spottings after receiving the Rite.
What about if I've had an abortion or miscarriage?
Most definitely. This rite helps to remove any imprints of pain or sorrow and move forward because the womb is not a place to store fear and pain.
Can men receive the rite?
This rite is to heal the womb and occasionally there is a man that feels the need to heal his psychic womb. Sometimes these men had very traumatic experiences in their mother’s wombs or had a very dysfunctional relationship with the feminine aspect of life.
