Soul Sunday: Small Actions, Big Connections 🌿
Share
Hello, lovely souls.
As the sun begins to dip and the house goes quiet, I wanted to take a moment to sit with you all. There is something so special about Sunday evenings, isn’t there? It’s that soft, bridge-like space between the rest of the weekend and the busy energy of the week ahead. It’s a time for reflection, for a deep breath, and for setting our intentions for the days to come.
This particular Sunday feels a bit more poignant than usual. As many of you know, we are at the tail end of Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s theme has been a powerful one: Action.
Not just the big, life-altering actions that make the news, but the small, quiet, and meaningful steps we take every day to look after ourselves and one another.
The Power of the Small Step
When we talk about personal growth workshops or embarking on a journey of spiritual growth, it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. We look at the mountain we want to climb and think we have to leap to the summit in one go. But the truth is, real change: the kind that sticks and heals: happens in the tiny, everyday moments.
Taking "Action" for your mental health might look like finally booking that wellness workshop you’ve been eyeing. It might look like five minutes of deep breathing before the kids wake up. Or, perhaps, it’s just the act of reaching out to a friend and saying, "I'm struggling a bit today."

In our personal development workshops, we often focus on the "ripple effect." One small action creates a wave that touches every other part of your life. By choosing one thing: just one: to do for your wellbeing this week, you are telling yourself that you are worth the effort. And you are, truly.
Finding Your Soul Tribe
We weren't meant to do this alone. The theme of "Action" isn't just about what we do for ourselves; it's about what we do for each other.
At Awakened Spirit, we talk a lot about our "soul tribe." This isn't just a catchy phrase for us: it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. Whether it’s at our big festival or a small one-day gathering, the magic happens when we connect.

When you are part of a community, "Action" becomes easier. You have people to cheer you on when you take a brave step, and hands to hold when you feel like you’re stumbling. Our upcoming events are designed to be that safe space where you can explore your own path while being surrounded by people who "get it."
Join Us Next Sunday: The MBS Event at Lilley Village Hall
Speaking of taking action, I am so excited to invite you to our next Mind, Body, and Spirit (MBS) event! It’s happening next Sunday, May 24th, at the lovely Lilley Village Hall.
If you’ve been looking for a sign to dive into some spiritual growth, this is it. We’ve brought together some incredible practitioners who are all about helping you take those small, transformative steps.
It’s going to be a day of stalls, healers, readers, and, most importantly, connection. It’s the perfect place to meet your tribe and take a small action toward your own happiness.
Looking Further Ahead: Magic in July
I also wanted to give you a little heads-up about something very special we have planned for the summer. On July 24th, we are hosting a Psychic Night with the wonderful Susan Smith.
Susan has such a gift for bringing comfort and hope through her readings. These evenings are always so full of warmth and "Aha!" moments. It’s a beautiful way to spend an evening, reminding us that there is always more than meets the eye and that we are supported by more than we know. Mark your calendars: you won't want to miss this one!
The Big One: The Awakened Spirit Festival
And, of course, our hearts are already beating for the Awakened Spirit Festival. If you really want to immerse yourself in personal development workshops, live music, and community building, this is the place to be.
Whether you join us for the whole weekend with a weekend camping ticket or just pop down for a day ticket, you are so welcome. It’s a chance to step out of the daily grind and into a world of magic, trust, and deep connection.

A Final Thought for Your Sunday
As you head into this new week, I want to leave you with a little challenge. In the spirit of Mental Health Awareness Week, what is one small action you can take for yourself tomorrow?
Maybe it’s drinking an extra glass of water, taking the long way home to see the trees, or finally booking that ticket to join us at Lilley Village Hall. Whatever it is, do it with love and do it for you.
You are doing so much better than you think you are. You are growing, you are learning, and you are part of a tribe that cares about you deeply.
Sleep well, dream big, and I can’t wait to see many of you next Sunday!
With so much love and light,
Hayley 🌿 Founder, Awakened Spirit
