So what should you expect on the weekend as a trader?
This festival is about SO much more than I can put into words. So I asked my traders to do it for me - including how business was for them.

Our business name is forestsoflifeart.com, we travel round festivals in our van Ray and sell our artwork and Handmade drums.Last weekend we attended Awakened Spirit Festival for the first time. And wow.The grounds were beautiful, the friends we met for the first time , I can't count.
Every time we travel to a festival we discuss our target take, we hit that and 50% more. So business was great, but to us it's not always about money.
Community, friends, people ,and respect make a successful festival.
Every festival we go to, we know the hard work and care that the festival team put in to a years work.Not everything runs smoothly and you can't please everyone. It is how those problems are solved too.
So we've already booked up for next year to see friends and would wholeheartedly recommend."

This was my first year here.
For my business: as a first time trader it was very much a let's try and see how it goes. The costs were very reasonable for a weekend and the ability to set up the day before so you could actually enjoy the grounds yourself and get to meet others was a definite bonus.
Contact prior to the event was perfect and arrival was smooth.
Yes footfall was sporadic, there was a lot going on so for the visitors I can imagine that it was hard to find the time to walk across the sizeable venue (something that has been discussed and addressed for next year.) and is also something I would consider in how I ran my stall as a few changes on how I worked would help my business and give me more personal time too.
Hayley went out of her way, beyond the normal levels of an event organiser, made us welcome and was very easy to talk to when needed.
On a personal level I enjoyed the beautiful grounds, met some fantastic people and left the event feeling much less stressed than I normally would after a full weekend show. The pace was relaxing and while she may never admit it Hayley was proactive and adapted to all situations.
For my husband and daughter who I drag along as helpers they had a lovely time and would happily come back.
Looking forward to 2025 already.
